Team Huddle: You Need To Hear This!!!

Updated: Dec 21, 2021

Everything you've seen other artists do doesn't mean it will work for you. It's okay to try strategies that you've seen others do. However, do not rely on copying others to maintain whatever success you gain. You need to take a realistic approach to achieve the things you do best. You need to step up your understanding of what you could be doing better for your own career.

Always ask for feedback. Ask for detailed feedback. The more information, the better. If you submit for a show booking and get declined, find out what you could be doing better to get a yes next time around. Ask for feedback on your music and your marketing plans, website, social media profiles, music videos, etc. You should be seeking all kinds of feedback from those that understand the business and make the decisions that suit the best ways to move forward. Be the inquisitive one and leave a positive impression on those willing to help you identify your faults.

As an artist, you need practical information that you can apply, and the only way you will get it is by asking for feedback and carving your own path. There's no one way to succeed, so the road is wide open for you. So ASK, you'll be surprised how many people with experience will answer you back.
