Music Coach Tip #19

Music Tip #19 - No manager should be selling you a dream that they cannot produce a planned strategy for. In other words, they must be able to not only back up what they plan on doing but firstly produce a plan of action.

Something that you can follow along and pinpoint a status or point where a change in the plan may need to be made. They should not be distracted. They should be thinking of the things you’re not even thinking of.

They should work with you every step of the way to ensure you understand and agree with the next steps that you have discussed together for your career. That includes recording, production, distribution, rehearsals, royalties, publishing, licensing, intellectual properties, etc.

Your manager has to have a distinct knowledge of the industry and how they plan on navigating it to advance your career/profile. (Share this post)
